The Samsung HW-Q60T 5.1 Channel Soundbar Review is possible due to affiliates and readers, thank you!

When it comes to soundbars, Samsung is one of the top companies if you are looking for a decent one. Soundbars are typically simple to setup and easy-to-use, especially when compared to traditional home theater systems, like the Onkyo HT-S3910.

When it comes to the Samsung Q60T Soundbar, you get a full-fledged surround sound system in a simple package. Additionally, you get a minimalistic, and subjectively very good looking modern design.

In this Samsung HW-Q60T Soundbar Review, we’ll be taking a look at the features of the soundbar, how it performs, build quality and then go over some final thoughts. But, with that being said, let’s get into it!

Firstly, starting off the Samsung Q60T Review with the most obvious feature, the 5.1 surround sound. It features full 3D surround sound with DTS Virtual X. Additionally, it uses Samsung Acoustic Beam to deliver sound in different areas. This means that, like Dolby Atmos, Samsung can delivery sound positionally around you without additional speakers.

Next, the Q60T has Q-Symphony which syncs a Q-Series soundbar to your Samsung QLED TV speakers so that you get the most immersive sound possible. So, not only can you add rear speakers, but you can use your TV speakers to create an ultimate home theater experience. While it might seem like a big deal, it virtually eliminates any extra setup work to make the process easier on you!

In addition, the Q60T features a multi-connection feature. This allows you to connect Bluetooth connections with several different devices. You can then easily flip between any of these devices within seconds.

Samsung also uses adaptive sound technology that optimizes the sound profile for each scene. It is constantly adjusting EQ settings to provide the best sound signature that you can get for that media type.

Finally, the Q60T soundbar features several connections, but most importantly includes an HDMI ARC connection. This allows you to control your sound settings through your TV’s ARC connection.

Build Quality

As far as build quality is concerned, Samsung typically has one of the highest standards in their industries. The HW-60T soundbar is no exception. It has a good solid feeling construction with a premium feel. The materials seem to be high-quality and should show no serious signs of wear and tear.

The included remote is simplistic, but feels great in the hand. It is an extremely comfortable design that they have been using in their TV’s for a while. Finally, the setup of the wireless subwoofer and soundbar itself is very simple and straightforward. This is partially thanks to the build quality of the cables and interfaces.

PS – It also comes with a mounting kit included!

When it comes to performance, the Samsung HW-Q60T is incredible. While it’s on the lower end of the spectrum when it comes to their Q series, it still brings the heat! It is a very powerful soundbar that includes 9 speakers. These are spread out between a dedicated center-channel, and full-range front speakers.

Additionally, there are top firing speakers that give you more immersive surround sound. And, if you have a QLED TV from Samsung, then you can sync those speakers that are built-in as well! What this means for you is that you have a more immersive, powerful and clear sound system that is extremely easy to setup.

The included speakers in the soundbar are pretty good. They have a huge amount of bass response, the mids are very clear and the highs aren’t overdone. Additionally, when listening to true 5.1-channel surround content, you really feel the immersion factor. While it’s not the same as having dedicated surround speakers, the virtualization that they accomplish is incredible.

If you didn’t know there weren’t rear speakers, you might never even find out because it sounds that realistic. However, if you do decide to add on the rear speaker kit, then you’ll get move to that next level of immersion.
