The Logitech Z333 2.1 Speakers Review is possible due to readers and affiliates, thank you!

When it comes to desktop and computer accessories, there is only a few companies we trust to provide exceptional quality every time. One such company is Logitech. They have been building computer peripherals and accessories for almost 50 years!

In addition to being one of the top peripheral manufacturers, they also have built a reputation for their gaming division. Gaming is an important part of their history and as such is represented in the Logitech Z333 2.1 Speakers.

While they aren’t branded as “gaming speakers“, they are targeted at a specific customer. A customer that is interested in high-quality audio performance for their computer setup, office or as a bookshelf speaker set.

With that said, let’s get into all the goodness of the Logitech Z333 Review.

Features

First up, the Logitech Z333 Speakers are a 2.1 speaker system. 2.1 is the designation for 2 mid-range speakers and 1 subwoofer. In combination, all 3 speakers can provide up to 80 watts peak and 40 watts RMS of power delivery.

The front-facing 5-inch subwoofer is designed to produce deep, rich bass and add an extra dimension to your audio. If you have never had a speaker set with a subwoofer before, there is no true replacement for having a dedicated bass speaker. It truly does provide an exceptional sound exeperience.

The right and left satellite speakers are an adequate size and provide a good amount of sound volume. There is an adjustable volume controller complete with an audio pass-through port. Additionally, there is a bass level knob on the back of the subwoofer. So, you can tune-in your specific wants and needs when it comes to power.

Finally, the Logitech Z333 speakers work with just about any system that outputs audio. This includes; Windows computers, Mac computers, Chromebooks, smartphones, tablets, televisions, and gaming consoles. To hook up the Z333 speakers, you just have to plug them in via auxillary (3.5mm) and play! Very simple and easy to use.

Performance

First and foremost, starting the Logitech Z333 speakers review with one of their biggest and only downfalls. The speakers tweeter on the satellite speakers is not real. Unfortunately this is common with speakers to provide a better aesthetic (especially for speakers that are on your desk).

While this might seem like a drawback, in reality it’s not. The sound quality does not change, they were obviously designed with this feature in-mind. So, with that said, the sound quality is very good.

Comparing the Z333 speakers to a Best Buy branded Insignia 2.1 speaker set, they are miles better. Logitech adds a premium feel (minus the fake tweeter) with an incredibly balanced sound. There is clear highs, solid mids and powerful bass that isn’t overpowering.

The next feature that really adds to the whole experience is the design itself. While sound quality is an important factor in PC speakers, design can be important as well. When the speakers are on your desk, they look very sleek, modern and fit in well. Additionally, they feel solidly built and the controller knob is a nice touch.

Finally, the setup and implementation is very simple. These are 100% plug and play speakers that don’t require much setup. You can easily set the Z333 speakers up for a party or outside and then reset them up somewhere else in no time. This is a commonly overlooked feature, but is extremely useful!

Final Verdict

logitech-z333-speakers-review

In conclusion, the Logitech Z333 2.1 Speakers are an exceptional value at around $60-80. If you can find them for under $80, then you’re at a great price point.

The next step up are the Logitech Z537 speakers adding Bluetooth functionality and 120 watts of peak power. They are a great pair of speakers, but we’d still go with the Z333’s. They are exceptionally priced and if you’re interested in a little more power, we’d bump up to the Edifier 2.1 Active Speaker System.
