Anker Soundcore Motion+ In-Depth Review
The Anker Soundcore Motion+ Test and Review is possible due to affiliates and readers, thank you!
Have you been looking for an affordable Bluetooth speaker that competes with some of the top brands (Bose, JBL, Harmon Kardon)?
Well, the Anker Soundcore Motion+ Bluetooth Speaker, might be the one for you.
In today’s review, we’ll be taking a look at the design, style, build quality and sound quality of the Soundcore. In addition, we’ll take a look at some of the other products by Anker that might work for you.
Soundcore Motion+ Features
Starting off with the features of the Anker Soundcore Motion+ is the star of the show; the incredibly huge sound.
The Soundcore Motion+ is packed with an incredibly loud quad-speaker setup. This setup consists of dual ultra-high frequency tweeters, two neodymium subwoofers, and dual passive radiators. The speakers have a power usage up to 30W. Anker also claims that their BassUpTM technology helps to enhance low-frequencies.
In addition, Anker claims Hi-Res Audio with their Qualcomm aptX lossless music reproduction (even over Bluetooth). They also say that the Soundcore Motion+ has an ultra-wide frequency of 50 Hz to 40 kHz. And, there is an advanced DSP to ensure that each piece of audio retains the smallest of details in reproduction.
It is equipped with Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity. But, you can also use USB-C and auxiliary input. You can also pair 2 Motion+ speakers to create a wireless stereo experience. There is also a 6,700 mAh battery to provide 12 hours of non-stop music from a single charge.
Next, is the Soundcore App. This app allows you to customize the Motion+’s EQ and mix your music. It can also be used to pair additional speakers (as mentioned before).
Finally, this is an IPX7 waterproof Bluetooth speaker. The casing of the Soundcore is fully waterproof and impenetrable against liquids.
Soundcore Motion+ Build Quality
When it comes to build quality, the Soundcore Motion+ does not disappoint. There is a very high-quality premium feel to the plastics, metals and other materials used.
It feels like they did not cut corners when creating this product. In addition, Bluetooth 5.0, a solid battery and solid USB-C all makes the Motion+ feel like a quality product.
Final Verdict
So, what is the Anker Soundcore Motion+ like to use? Is it worth it?
Well, as far as performance goes, we don’t think that there is another speaker we’ve tested at around $100 that comes close. The volume, sound stage, audio quality and build quality are all unmatched by competitors. You can find more expensive speakers that do the same thing, however when it comes to budget Bluetooth speakers, you won’t.

There are a few downsides we found to the Anker Soundcore Motion+. It is bigger than some of the competitors, however this does add to it’s sound stage. From a design perspective, the Motion+ isn’t very exciting to look at. There isn’t many color choices and you don’t really get an exciting design.
But, with those things said, we think that the Soundcore Motion+ is a great Bluetooth speaker choice for anyone in the market!
